Occupational First Aid / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training was held in-house (Training Venue: USV Thailand Room), total 40 participants attended the 1 day course.

How to use simple immobilization techniques to reduce pain and spasm

Fractured of wrist                                                             Fractured of the ribs

Mild or Moderate Head Injury                                   Fractured of the forearm

      Fractured of the lower leg

What a first aider needs to do – Unconscious and not breathing victim

This involves giving him a combination of chest compressions and rescue breaths to keep his heart and circulation going. If he starts breathing normally again, stop CPR and puts him in recovery position.

Instructor demonstrating “How to perform CPR?” and trainees complete return demonstrations of skills.

Types of Bleeding

Nurse performs pressure bandages & compresses to reduce blood flow and allow clotting demo to the course participants.

Instructor-led classroom component provides trainees the opportunity to practice their skills

All of the on-site instructors are fully certified and experienced full-time professionals (doctor & nurse) from Dong Nai Health Care Centre. The Lecture/Demonstration gives participants an outline of basic First Aid. Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, participants are presented with an Occupational First Aid Certificate.

Started with CPR lecture & demonstration

Participants received the CPR skills and confidence to apply what they have learned.

Practical Training on moving and rescuing the bone fracture victim

Demonstration on “know how?” To bandage obvious deformity of the shoulder & immobilize the fracture, head & facial bleeding involves the use of bandage .

Trainees received instruction in the principles and practical performance of:

Splinting of the lower arm / lower leg and ankle

Practical Training on moving and rescuing including 3 person lifting the victim

First Aiders are trained to perform CPR & treat minor injuries until the arrival of medical or other assistance

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an invaluable lifesaving technique useful in many emergencies,  including sprains, broken bones, bleeding, fainting / unconscious, heart attack or near drowning, in which someone’s breathing or heartbeat has stopped. We had fully certified and experienced full-time professionals (doctor & nurse) from Dong Nai Health Care Centre on-site to provide theoretical information and the practical skills required to manage an emergency.

40 employees are trained for 1 full day (8 hours) in first aid by the professionals (doctor or nurse) annually. The pool of trained and certified ‘first aiders’ could be called upon during emergencies, to lend their skills to help others!

CPR Practical – Allows instructors to observe the trainees, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.

Emergency bleeding control – bleeding control techniques are taught as part of First Aid

Bone Fracture – What First Aiders learned & understood about?

  1. Control any bleeding, if a wound is present
  2. Immobilize the injured part to reduce pain
  3. Make the patient comfortable where an ambulance is likely to be delayed.

DO NOT move the patient or any injured part unnecessarily.
