Amidst the uncertainty and challenging local and global economic environment, the Group continued to deliver commendable results for FY2017.

For the financial year under review, group’s revenue increased 7% from RM319.4 million to RM342.6 million, translating into an increase of RM23.2 million. The better results mainly derived from Textile Division.

The Group managed to turn around from the loss before tax of RM27.43 million for FY2016 to profit before tax of RM134.0 million for FY2017, owing to impairment write back for investment in associated as well as gain on disposal of US investment.

MEIMG-20140726-WA0006United Sweethearts Garment Sdn Bhd is the Official Partner for Second Penang Chief Minister Cup International Basketball Invitational Championship 2014 which was held on 25-29 July 2014 at Han Chiang Indoor Stadium.

Total 6 nation team are participating which include Australia Chinese Basketball Association (Australia), Chinese Taipei National University of Art (Taiwan), India Karnataka State Basketball Team (India), Malaysia Selection Team (Malaysia), Philippines Blackwater Basketball Team (Philippines) and Singapore Siglap Basketball Club (Singapore).

Thru sponsorship, company wish to promote sport amongst employees which will lead to a healthier workforce and greater productivity.

Malaysia Selection Team had won the championship by winning all 5 matches.

First Aid and CPR is conducted on 21,22 Jun 2012 in Sungai Bakap. The participants have learn how to manage in an emergency situation such as wound, fracture and chocking in theory and practical. After the training, the participants will be appointed to be First Aider in Emergency Response Team.
